Sixteen artists from Tijuana, Mexico, will display works of art that bridge boundaries and connect cultural stories at Esquina Bicycle Shop in Boyle Heights this August.

The Rayadero Collective Gallery opens Friday with a free reception at 6 p.m. featuring music, food and discussion with the artists. The event is a collaboration with La Casa Norte, an independent Mexican artist collective that works to highlight artists from Tijuana.

The local nonprofit Inclusive Action for the City will join the event to share information on and raise funds for the L.A. Street Vendor Solidarity Fund.

The fundraiser was launched in June by a coalition of immigrant rights and street vendor advocacy groups to support street vendors struggling with the economic fallout from ICE raids across L.A. As of July 29, 2025, the fund has raised just over $180,000 of its $30,000 goal.

The Rayadero Collective Gallery at Esquina Bicycle Shop is on display through August 31, 2025.
