Community members gathered this weekend during Día de los Muertos celebrations across the Eastside.

Elaborate altares honoring loved ones who have died were adorned with photos, cempasúchil flowers, sugar skulls and vibrant colors.

People expressed their love and remembrance in many ways: some with painted faces and colorful attire, others through dance and art. All came together to celebrate life and those who are no longer with us.

Here are some moments from Día de los Muertos celebrations.
