The LA Local is partnering with the CD 9 Coalition to moderate a candidate forum on Oct. 3 featuring Estuardo Mazariegos and Jose Ugarte, who are both running for LA City Council District 9.
Locals living in CD9 will have the opportunity to share their point of view with candidates and neighbors.
The LA Local will be participating as a media partner. Our editorial team and Youth Journalists will be moderating the discussion.
The CD 9 Coalition intends on leading a community-centered conversation, where candidates can address community concerns and share their plans to navigate issues in the city.
