Thousands took to the streets in downtown L.A. on Sunday to protest President Trump’s immigration policies.

The demonstration began at Olvera Street shortly before 11 a.m. with protesters marching toward City Hall.

Nearby, demonstrators walked onto the 101 Freeway near the 110 interchange, shutting it down for hours in both directions.

No arrests were made in connection with the protest, according to an LAPD spokesperson.
