Erianna Jiles, Youth Journalism Mentor
My background: I moved to LA to pursue a creative career in production. I got my start as a freelance audio journalist covering arts and culture for MPR, KFAI, and The Current, focusing on stories that center underrepresented voices and creative communities.
What I do: I produce video podcasts for indie shows in Hollywood. Most days I’m on set or working from home pitching guests, dreaming up show ideas, and collaborating with hosts, videographers, and production teams to bring conversations to life.
Why LA: The blend of hustle, storytelling, and community you can’t quite find anywhere else.
