Frankie Morales, Director of Strategic Partnerships, Long Beach Post
My background: I’m a Los Angeles native with over three decades of experience across media, publishing, and sales. I began my career in journalism, driven by a passion for storytelling, before transitioning into advertising and publishing—where I found my strength in building relationships, driving audience engagement, and delivering meaningful revenue growth.
What I do: I lead local advertising sales for the Post and the Business Journal—two longstanding and well-respected publications in Long Beach. Their strong reputation, trusted voice, and effective reach make it easier to connect clients with meaningful opportunities and deliver results.
Why Long Beach: I’ve called Long Beach home since I was 19, when I attended UC Irvine. It’s where I bought my first Craftsman home at 7th and Orange, entered into a domestic partnership at 24, and launched both my first—and later, my second—business. To me, Long Beach remains the most underrated beach city in California.
