Julania Marechal-Raymond, LA Documenters Intern
My background: I’m an only child adopted into a transracial family. I’m a rising Senior from Philadelphia, PA who moved to LA to continue my academic and athletic career. While my time on the track team lasted just 2 years, in my free time I keep up with exercise and a structured workout routine.
What I do: While I am passionate about uplifting unheard and misrepresented voices, what also draws me to media and journalism is the process of uncovering information and developing a deep understanding of a subject before presenting it to the public through my writing.
