
Kevin Merida
Kevin Merida is a visionary media leader with a distinguished career spanning some of the nation’s most influential newsrooms. Most recently, he served as the Executive Editor of the Los Angeles Times, where he oversaw all newsgathering operations and led a reorganization of the newsroom. Under his leadership, The Times won four Pulitzer Prizes and its first Oscar. Prior to that, he was a Senior Vice President at ESPN and Editor-in-Chief of The Undefeated (now Andscape), a platform exploring the intersections of race, sports, and culture. With over two decades at The Washington Post, including as Managing Editor, Kevin brings unparalleled editorial judgment and a commitment to journalism that reflects the complexity of diverse communities. He serves on the Pulitzer Prize Board and is a trustee of Boston University.
