My background: I’m a Politics student at Occidental College and Co-editor of the Arts and Culture column at the school newspaper. In 2024, I participated in al Occidental College’s campaign semester, where I organized for a battleground congressional campaign. That experience emphasized the current loss and importance of local news initiatives, which motivated me to start writing for the paper and now intern for The LA Local.
