
Michael Ouimette
Michael Ouimette is the Chief Strategy and Operations Officer at the American Journalism Project (AJP), where he leads efforts to build sustainable nonprofit news organizations across the country. Before joining AJP, he led the domestic direct-to-consumer businesses at VICE Media, launching subscription products and managing experiential businesses. His background combines deep operational expertise in digital media with a passion for civic information, having also worked in strategy for tech startups and social innovation centers. Michael’s work is focused on creating the business infrastructure necessary for local news to survive and thrive as a public good.
