As immigration operations continue around LA, we at The LA Local have heard a variety of questions from families in our communities.
We’ve partnered with Public Counsel and Bet Tzedek to get immigration lawyers to answer some of them. How can parents keep their children safe if they’re deported? Are you concerned about attending a protest?

My Background: I worked at the Los Angeles Times as video journalist. Prior to that, I was the social media coordinator at The Getty.
What I do: I produce video and photography for The LA Local. I help shape the visual identity of The LA Local across all our platforms.
Why LA: I was born in East LA to immigrant parents. Seeing reporting that accurately reflect our community drives me to document our stories, particularly those that show our tradition and culture.
