Football season has started, and for many Boyle Heights fans, that means following their favorite local team: the Roosevelt Rough Riders.
Lucky for them, the red and gold team has gotten off to a good start. Last Thursday, Roosevelt beat Fairfax High School with a 31 to 13 victory.
Roosevelt will play their first home game of the season against Sylmar High School Friday. Junior Varsity game begins at 4 p.m.; Varsity begins at 7p.m. at 456 South Mathews St, Los Angeles, CA 90033.
