The Inglewood Night Market will make its debut at the Hollywood Park shops on Sept. 19 with a lineup of food stalls, artists, streetwear brands and other local businesses.
Organizers have already started locking in vendors for the limited booths, but about half of the 25 to 30 slots still remain, said Jorge Gomez, the market’s founder. Gomez, a brand designer and graffiti writer, also runs a design and art agency, The Money Studio, in Inglewood that is putting on the market.
Interested artists, artisans, brands and food vendors can apply for a slot through the market’s online form, which is linked in the market’s bio on Instagram.
The fee for a 10-foot square booth is $50 for students, $75 for artists, $125 for retail brands and $200 for food vendors.
Registration closes on June 7. Questions can be directed to Susie Garcia, director of operations for The Money Studio, at susie@themoneystudio.com.
Those who want to volunteer can direct message the night market’s Instagram or send an email to info@themoneystudio.com.
Gomez, the market’s founder, said he wants the event to showcase Inglewood’s homegrown creative community as events in the city’s sports and entertainment core — like this summer’s FIFA World Cup and the 2028 Olympics — draw increasing national and international attention.
“There’s this big gap for brands and local businesses,” Gomez said. “There’s rich culture already present in Inglewood. There’s not just artists here. There are photographers, designers, architects, film, food, music.”
Gomez said that the market could become an annual event or be held more frequently, depending on the success of its debut.
