Topline:

More than 6 million tickets have been sold for the L.A. Olympics, according to organizer LA28.

Why now: The second ticket drop closed yesterday — it was the last chance regular folks could buy Olympic tickets this year.

What’s next: Ticket sales will reopen to the public next year on a first-come, first-served basis. Unlike this year’s ticket drops, there will be no cap on the number of tickets people can buy for more sports.
