Justin Agrelo
My background: I’ve spent the last six years working in local news, mostly as a reporter and community engagement specialist. My work has centered on deep-community listening and building connections between everyday people and the journalists looking to serve them.
What I do: I'm a 2026 California Local News Fellow, covering South LA and Inglewood for The LA Local. I look forward to telling stories that resonate with the people who call these communities home.
Why LA: I’ve loved LA since the first time I visited in 2019. From the people to the culture to the art, it’s a special place.
The best way to contact me: My email is justin@thelalocal.org
